I've pressed every and all the buttons and I'm unable to open the message fully and read the actual text, I've even tried test runs sending texts to myself and still no luck. HELP!

I kept thinking it was something in the phone setting since I was getting an alert on the blaze. How do I change to the built in messages on my phone?

I have the same problem with my galaxy note III I get a green bubble that says messages then a white bubble under it that says text message but no name or what the message says. I have my blaze synced with my galaxy note III and my Apple iPad do you think that might be a problem? IDK but it's driving me nuts

I can't tell if you've already solved this issue, but I just saw on another thread someone with the same issue (not being able to see the content of a new text). They had Android and a Samsung Galaxy I believe. Their issue seemed to be fixed by going into their phone's settings and turning on "preview" for their text messages. Personally, I'm an iPhone user so I can't tell you exactly how to do it, but I'm hoping this helps a little bit? Good luck!

On the Android Samsung Galaxy S5 phone, hit the gear icon to get into setup. Select Applications, then select Messages, then select Default messaging app. On the More networks screen, select Default messaging app and switch it to Messages instead of Message+. Your phone will now use Messages.
You also have to change the setting in the fitbit phone app to use Messages. Open fitbit app on the cell phone, select the Blaze device. Under Devices, select Blaze, then select Call and Text Notifications. It may prompt to enable notification services, which you want to enable, Then under Text Notifications, select Messages. You should be able to see the entire text message contents.
